3dmark scores are WAY disapointing, what can i do?

Athlon 1.4 ghz
msi geforce 2 pro
epox ep-ek7a
santa cruz
512 MB pc 2100 crucial ram

This is the first time i had benchmarked. I used 3dmark 2001, and tweaked the motherboard settings like turtning off vsync, etc, and that only raised the score like form an 1800 to a 1900. i also installed the amd miniport driver. i am using win2k mobo drivers... WHAT CAN I DO !!! i know i should have a higher score please RESPOND. thanks, im sort of new to all of this...

I just upgraded to an Athlon 1.33 and EPoX 8K7A. I have 256 MB Nanya PC2100 w/ Radeon 64 in Win2k. I got a 3DMark2001 of 3316.

lol, I have 1.0Ghz with PC133 RAM and Voodoo5, and my score is still higher than yours (2029)

Do you have Service Pack 2 and 12.4 or 12.9 Detonator drivers installed? Not sure if service pack2 does anything or not, but it cant hurt. You do have DX8 installed right? some people over look this

It misses a few benchmarks because your GeForce doesn't support Dx8 in Hardware. Ya need a GF3 to see the full tests. What do you get if you turn 2x FSAA off?

this seems like its an nvidia file, not an amd file. i installeed the amd one a couple times but this still stays here

Hello,

I have an Amd 750 chipset and a Athlon Thubderbird 850 with a Visiontek 2 GTS video card and I get a 2700 score. You should turn off AA off or check any programs running in the background that are interfering with the 3Dmark2k1.
