3DMark 2001 never completes on my system! It always says there is a corrup 3d file! I have an abit kt7a 1.2ghz(150x8)t-bird on an ibm 75gxp 40gig hard drive and a hercules prophet geforce 2mx(190/215). I tried the program before I reformatted and it crashed then also! Anyone else have this problem?

In all seriousness, I think 3dmark 2001 blows compared to 2000. Yeah the matrix scene is pretty neat, but the demo as a whole is not nearly as impressive as 2000. The benchmark itself with its jump back to windows between each test is a bit shoddy looking as well....

I had just reformatted my computer and had just installed all of the software. Ran Norton Utilities, everything was fine. Then I say 3dmark 2001 came out so I downloaded it. It crashed whith everything at default so I overclocked everything again to see if it would run smoother and not crash...still crashed.

ok, i just solved it. All I did was enable fastwrites in the bios and it ran through. I got 2503....I think that's very low for my system...I need a new video card!
