Alright, here's my system...
Windows XP SP2
P4 2.4c @ 3.33 @ 277 FSB (runs at 3.4 but Windows not completely stable
)
1 Gig PC2700 running in dual channel @ 368 mhz (Pretty good, 5.1k ALU and FPU on Sandra
)
BFG 6800 OC @ 350/750
3DMark 2003 Score - 9,4XX (About 100 more than my A64 3000+@2200 MHZ system)
3DMark 2005 Score - 2,5XX (About 200 less than my A64 system
)
Also question about softmodding. I did softmod this card and it seemed successful (16x1 6 vp). 3DMark 2003 ran fine with no artifacts and my score jumped to around 10,400 (not bad for a 6800 vanilla). But when I started Far Cry some wierd things started happening (no artifacts or graphical glitches of anykind though). When I started entering bushes or any kind of brush performance slowed to a crawl and I had to wait quite a few seconds till anything actually happened. This also happened when I zoomed with the weapon I was holding. When I disabled the extra vp and pipelines everything went back to normal. Anyone else experience this?
