As of April 14, 2008, 3D Gamers users will be redirected to FilePlanet, where they can enjoy the same great experience they have come to expect from 3D Gamers.
Current 3D Gamers subscriptions will be automatically transferred to a FilePlanet subscription and current downloaded files will be redirected to FilePlanet.

This is sad news. I always went there first when looking for gaming dowloads as they gave me the best speeds, plus I found it very easy to navigate.

This blows! 3DGamers is awsome, they have files for a ton of old games. I bet Fileplanet will lose all of it 🙁. Now you'll proably always have a waiting time. Then they'll just start making you pay. Why don't they just leave the site there and host the files on Fileplanet servers?

I too am saddened by this. 3dgamers archived a lot of stuff that simply was no longer found elsewhere.
