Are you nuts? EVERYONE would give their left nut to own anything by 3dfx, the greatest video company ever! The guy that get this will spend countless happy hours looking at those cards, and daydreaming about "what might have been" had the 6K come out! Then he can....errr, look at them some more....and....and....maybe look at them again....yep, it would be pretty cool to have those worthless, antique video cards to look at.

Me, I collect Sony Betamaxs. You can say "VHS is better" all you want, but BETA was where it was AT baby!

I'm surprised it's not at $6000. I mean, c'mon, there's a working V5 6K in there, the greatest video card of all time with loads of advanced features like ......errrr....Oh yeah, this was 3dfx's first gen of 32 bit color, even though other companies had it for years....and...errr....FSAA! .....mmmm....errr...did I say FSAA?
 
I dont really understand why people would pay so much for a bunch of old video cards? Although people usually do pay a pretty penny for antiques. 🙂
 
coz these cards are not manufactured anymore

not only video cards
there are people who collect old intel processors..
and pay a hefty sum for it too..


anyway, price is picking up , currently at $660.00 now

Well then.....I'll just hang onto that P166 for another few years and let it appreciate.....Yep...not gonna bother with that 401K anymore. I got my new retirement strategy all mapped out!

Not a bad collection, but still incomplete. I have a Rush still. 10% slower than a Voodoo1. 😛

but still do not bring justice to the amount of cards he is selling,
