3D Sudio Max7 problem

I m having some trouble, with 3D S tudio Max 7, I have just started learning & a compleate N00b in it, & I guess I misplaced something, or some setting, now when I click on the object in any view, it changes to wireframe as long as the mouse button is pressed, I think it's some setting I changed, but don't know what, reinstalling this helps, but I don't want to reinstall again & again, help required
 
I never had that problem befor you might what to check your button/mouse seting. Then again I only have 3D studio Max 5.
