I have been investigating this technology for a while and felt like giving back to the anandtech community with this rebate offer. Head on over to Dti3d and there is a 200 dollar rebate on the 15.1 inch lcd monitor. For those that care about this technology it uses even and odd pixels placed at angles with one another. Images are displayed alternativly on the even and odd pixels and the eye sees two images and makes one that is 3d. Supposadly it works with any software, I would buy one except for the lack of funds. Enjoy!

Looks very cool. However, most people here probably don't have the money to even take it for a test run. ;) Hehe..well at least me. ;)

This monitor just acts like the stereoscopic glasses that Elsa or ASUS includes with their cards. Notice in the system requirements, it says "Graphics list for a stereo game" ... Still should be pretty cool if it works right.

It is only natively compatible with Nvidia chipset cards too (TNT/TNT2,GeForce,GeForce 2 GTS, and probably GeForce 3) ... Otherwise you need to use the SciTech Doctor Display to get it to work (and this may only be in OpenGL, their sys.requirements doc. isn't very specific).

I dont have anywhere close to the $$$ it requires to buy this, but it does sound pretty interesting.

That's awesome, but i think 15inches is a little too small. It would be a heck lot cooler if it was a 19" or 21" LCD!!!

speed24get,

You must not have scrolled all the way down, they also offer an 18.1" 3D LCD which is "Affordably priced at only $6999"

There you go... after you order and receive it, let us know how it works out. :D
