Hi, I just made a new computer for my friend and it's a 1900mhz athlon with 512 mb ram and geforce 4 ti4600, and he gets under 6000 for a 3d mark score. Now I remember reading from this site that he needs to get a some driver or file and it should go up. He's running Win XP and has the latest VIA drivers and nvidia drivers. Also I could use it, and I'm running win2k.

I read somewhere about a INF file that raised someone's 3dmark score from 6000 to 9000...

Try looking for that on here somewhere, might help.

I get a 3dmark score of 1100 on a P4 1.7ghz 256MB RAMBUS 64mb Radeon VE... So consider yourself lucky for getting 6000. Oh and Im running win2k. For some reason my score LOWERED 1500 when I went from ME to 2k.

Download the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers. It should install the latest AGP driver automatically.

Installing the Via 4 in 1's should come close to doubling your score.

The problem is that I made my friends computer 2 days ago and I did install the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers, the thing I remember about reading is downloading the AGP driver seperately or something like that. What's the average 3d mark score for a geforce 4 ti 4600 anyways?

10000 could easily be achieved with the system that you have built. my little G3ti200 on Athlon 1400@1575 gets 7500 on 3dmark.
wat drivers have you been using? 29.42? and remember to turn off everything in the background when running 3dmark.
