It should be in the driver options. If you right click the desktop, go to properties, settings tab, advanced button. Not sure exactly where it would be with an ATI card, but go there, and look around. I'm 90% sure that's the problem, as I've seen other people with Ti4600's and 9700's and 9500 Pro's who were "stuck at 10,000" ... So 10,000 is about what you score at about 85 frames per second in every test, which is a normal refresh rate.

Right Click desktop, go to Properties, go to the Settings Tab, go to the advanced button, Click the GeForce4 Ti4200 Tab, click the Direct3D item in the list on the left, click More Direct3D button Change Vsync mode to always off... Now go to Open GL item in the list on the left, change Verticle Sync to Always Off

there wasnt a vsinc option on direct 3d. al i had was a slider bar that had nothing to do with vsync. i did however, find the vertical sinc in the opengl tab

To Turn off VSync, simply right click on your desktop and select properties > Settings Tab > advanced > geforce Tab > then OPEN GL settings > vertical sync will be on by default.

Did I hear an echo?

Anyway... maybe earlier detonator drivers don't have that D3D setting... but the 44.03 drivers do.
