Hi ,

This is crazy .... my score is only 5476 ???? :frown:

See the Radeon 9200 .... would i be better with a GeForce4 MX 440 64mb ?

Thats the best card ive got ... i dont play games or anything so , i dont need really expensive GFX cards .

that score is about right for a 9200 but if you arent gaming, why bother with 3dmark anyway?

i'm ~17000, see sig. but i bet i have the best bang for buck machine out there for 3dmark, and i got the parts during last summer (higher prices than now). 17 points of 3dmark for every 1 dollar spent!

If you spent $1,000 on your system then I claim a better bang for the buck. I got 17,286 3dMarks for $541.37 (not including an old 17" monitor that I re-used for this system). That's 31.9 3dMarks per dollar. See sig for system details. My sense though is that others probably can beat my ratio.

If you consider the value of my system now, I would get 42 points per dollar! Ha!

Hi ,

shady06 : that score is about right for a 9200 but if you arent gaming, why bother with 3dmark anyway?

I dont play games just now but ,i plan to in the future i just dont have any time just now .

Thats why i downloaded 3DMark to see if my PC was adequate for todays games. :)

So all i really need is a reasonable GFX card and it should be fine for most games ?

Any suggestions what to buy , im only willing to spend aroung £150 thats about $250 USD

Ive never ever lookad at GFX cards so i have no idea what to look for.
