3D Mark 2001 Crashes my machine! HELP!!!

I have been battling what I think is a device conflict. I recently replaced my graphics card thinking it was the problem but I am back getting the same hangs during long game installs, 3d games, or when I run 3D Mark 2001.

The system is not running too hot (105-110 F) during the benchmark but during the third game test, it locks up and I have to reboot.

It isn't an OS or vid card problem as I had the same problems under ME and Win 2K and also with a Matrox and NVidia card. Could it be the CPU, mobo, or RAM???

Looking for any suggestions on troubleshooting or what to replace next.
