I think my 3DMARK 2000 scores are too low... i.e. 6659 @ 1024x768 16 bit.

Could this be caused by my use of the ASUS video drivers? (ver. 5.33a) or is it something else? I have a 1.1 GHz thunderbird A7V with 256 meg micron cas 2. I downloaded the latest 4in1 from asus and installed it. (It helped me go from 6400 to 6600) Processor is a 1.1 GHz thunderbird. I see scores of P3 800's getting 6000 with this card! I should at least be in the 7000 range... i think.

Hahaha...trying getting 3900 at 8x6 16bit on a dual PIII system at 933MHz... Sometimes I want to cry, wish I bought a GTS. Though I get better numbers in Sandra CPU benchmark.

That should make you feel better. :)

First of all, 3DMark2000 is a crap benchmark. You would definitely see an increase by using newer detonator 3 drivers. They increased performance for all GeForce cards. Good Luck.

There really is no such thing as a too low 3DMark score. Any computer can get any score. Usually you can use your score to gauge changes on your computer, not always, sometimes your score can vary wildly with no changes. But very rarely is 3DMark useful for comparing one system to another. Games scores are different.
