I have used 3dConnexion's "spaceball" products for many years.
I recently changed companies and have been using mouse and keyboard for 2d/3d CAD.
I just received my new Space Explorer in the mail.
I installed it and fired up one of my assemblies to test it out.
I cannot wipe the smile off my face.
Here is the model I have: http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spaceexplorer.html
$300
If any of you work in a 3d application, you need one of these.
They are a little pricey, but once you have one, you will never work without one again.
They are extremely helpful in 2d environments too.
