3D copiers. Anyone see these???

These are nothing new, the concept has been around for about 5-8 years now.

Stuff like that is so cool. I saw a show a while back about a machine that makes the models using some kind of plastic like material that was shaped by high speed water jets (I think it was water). Simply amazing. It's like watching parts for an engine being created by robots.
 
nod we use them too. it drips a big puddle of coolant on the floor that makes it look like someone had a pee.
 
Surprisingly cheap! The article NL5 provided said a certain company's entry-level 3D printer starts out at $30,000. Those will come down drastically in the next few years if they can keep away from problems with the technology.

hehe that's not a bad idea, one of our machines is very close to a vending machine... now I need to create some quarters in Pro/E.
