Might be a good deal most of sites selling it at 190 -200.

Bought it at Electronics Boutique today, not sure how well they are stocked, 2 week return policy. Can anyone tell me are there any rebates on this?

Also bought at comp USA: Iomega ZIP CD 650, usb (PC or mac)cd-rw 4x4x6 $199. Might be a good deal.

Retail List price for this card is ~$150. Not a bad card, but its not a "real" GTS 32DDR as it uses 64bitddr not 128bitddr... it typicaly benchmarks a little slower than a SDRAM GeForceMX.

The above deal is no deal - I bought during the holidays the Plextor 12/10/32 from Amazon.Com (internal) for $189 w/free shipping and media.

Check pricewatch.com and fatwallet, and check the deal forum here for better deals!

This is not a hot deal. This card normally sells for around $130 anywhere you go. It is a Geforce MX card, not a real Geforce 2 GTS, which would cost around $200. Just check any price search engine:

This card can be had for as low as $111. Unlike most Geforce 2 MX cards, this does have DDR ram, which is better than SDR. However, read any review of this card and you'll find that it is actually slower than most good SDR MX cards out there. Most reviews I read about this card have been bad. Go instead for the Cardexpert Geforce 2 MX--it's pretty much indesputed as the best Geforce MX card around, and it's just as cheap as the others. Or if you want real performance, use a Buy.com coupon and get a real GTS card. The performance difference is substantial. I went from a Hercules MX card to a Elsa Gladiac GTS and my Quake 3 framerate increased almost 40%. And the card cost me only $127 with the coupon.

The CL GF2 MX only uses a 64-bit memory bus...as far as I know, all the other GF2 MX cards use a 128-bit bus, thus the difference in performance. The DDR memory chips do not come close to making up for 1/2 the bandwidth.

the sdr and ddr are around par in performance.
the sdr is only slightly better, when comparing average o/c speeds of the two cards.
