I did this a few months back with a rebate that went to the dreaded New Rochelle, NY address. Turns out that the 3com "supplier" had taken over the rebates from this crappy company and I just got my $40 rebate (mailed in July). Good to see that they have switched rebate companies.

BTW, I have this on Comcast and it works just as good as the RCA rental it replaced.

just a warning people this is the most incompatible modem made..... make sure your cable op supports it.
