3COM 10/100 TX Cardbus PCMCIA NIC (DELL LABEL) $36

I keep meaning to call up and ask if it comes with cables since it's so cheap. Has anyone ordered one and found out? Also, what is the differnece between the forementioned one and this one? (besides $8)

Just a guess but I believe the one with the -D or the ($8 more expensive one) includes the dongle. Didn't have time to look up the manuf skus but 3Com dongles run for about $8 wholesale.

It says the dongle cable is included (you know, that little 8 inch cable that connects the proprietary connector on the pccard to the rj45 female port that accepts your cable)... Not bad, but what is the driver support? Win 2k okay? That's my only concern...

I ended up buying one with a dongle on ebay... I get nice speeds from it (8-11MB/sec, near max speed).. The limitation is probably my hard drive (4500rpm)...
