Here is a Dyson DC14 Vacuum for $299.99 shipped from Amazon.com. I have one of these, and WOW is just hte start of how awesome this thing is. Comes with lifetime HEPA filter. And a 5 year warranty through Dyson. Really, this thing is well worth the money, and for 36% off normal price, this is an Outstanding price.

 
It doesn't say so, (or at least I don't see it) but I'd suspect these are "remanufactured". IF they're actually coming from Dyson however, they're probably pretty good. I don't see anything about warranty either. I'd certainly want to check into that before I bought. Many remanufactured goods have very limited warranties.
 
Its from Amazon, I doubt they'd sell refurb w/o spelling it out.
Under condition its listed as new.

It's NEW...and if it's not. I'd raise holly hell with Amazon. But I'm sure it is what it says it is. As Amazon is pretty good about there stuff.

My receipt from dell said 'expected shipping date 12/3'. Well, I got an email yesterday saying it had shipped. UPS guy delivered it about 30 minutes ago. That's some pretty good FREE Super Saver Shipping! 🙂

is dyson that good that its worth $400 bucks? vacuum cleaners are almost as expensive these days as lcd tv's. anyone here own a dyson, are they good??
 
As a Dyson owner (having bought the "ball" a month ago), I'd say no.
Sure it looks cool and "maybe" cleans better, but there's a lot of alternatives out there that do the same job for a lot less cash.

My parents have had one for about 2 years and say it's working as good now as it was when the got it.

I have had mine for about 5 days and for 300 it was worth it. 470? no chance. Every vacuum i ever have had starts it's decline after about 6 months and is pretty useless after 18 months - and that's buying 99 dollar jobs. If this last 3 years or more, it pays for itself in my opinion, plus it cleans better than any vacuum i've EVER seen AND it works on my tile floors (1/2 the house)! No more sweeping! 🙂
 
It's been a few days so I'm not 100% sure on pricing but I believe Big Lots had the (yellow) DC14 for $299 in-store. Worth a check if you happen to be looking and have one nearby, sorry if I got the price wrong.
