3870 and Vista

[x2 3600 rules sazakky]

If I did change over to Vista with my current setup, how mych of a loss of performance would I see in games such as GRID and Crysis and CNC3.

actually you will gain performance :! Ati got better utilization of Vista. Anyways , if you do end up going vista , make sure you play your games on dx9 as the performance difference between dx9 to dx10 is huge and with simple edit to game config you could get all the effect of dx10.
