The 4000+ will offer a slight (1-2%) if any performance increase over the 3800+. Save your money and get the 3800+, then buy a better graphics card with the money you save.

With a Venice it may be worth getting a 3800, but with a Winchester the core has a frequency wall. So OCing a 3200 will get you to the same speed as OCing any other Winny.

i'd pick the 3800+ or the 3500+...

especialy with running ocz vx memory i want to run 1:1 with 2-2-2-6 timings so i need that 11x mult that the 3500+ provides...

the 3700+ is only at 10x due to the larger L2 cache it has (1 meg instead of 512kb).

I am kind of wondering the same thing. Both the 3800 and 4000 are the same speed but which will OC higher? The only difference is the 512K of cache on the 3800 and the 1M on the 4000+ - I am looking at the Venice vs San Diego and need to make up my mind ASAP. What do you guys think - I tried to find a review on the 4000+ San Diego but I cant find anything. Anyone seen one? If they are going to OC the same then I am going to save the cash and buy a 3800 - but if there is a better performace boost then why the hell not I will just get the 4000+!
