Im gonna buy a new Pc, for gaming, encoding, an every day use and im not sure:

3700+ and 7800GT

or X2 3800+ and 6800GS??

Why not 3200+?
Because of the night.....no..cose the 512kb extra, is 3700+ a bit (little bit) processor, which memory control is better than the one of the 3200+

Why not Opteron 148?
Because all the good steppings are gone, there are only "chanta" (a chilean word, for bad) left.
 
I agree 3700 seems to be the way to go now since the 3000 phased out and the good oc steppings have been removed.
