with an AMEX card you get a 2 year warrenty apparently.
I am sure FRY's will warrenty this thing out too.

Amex will extend/double the manuf. warranty up to one year. They
won't do anything until the original warranty is over then they'll either replace your item or refund the money.
They process is relatively stress-free and for me it came in handy with a Dell laptop that went bad about 6 months out of warranty. Even though my original purchase price was $1650, Amex gave me a $1500 credit after 1.5 years when they couldn't find new parts for the repair.
I guess that's good thing for some of us... I was just about going to purchase it with my AMEX business card; it's good price but I could really save the money and use it else where.Originally posted by: mzkhadir
