according to avs forum, it can do 1920x1080@ 50hz as computer monitor, but not at 60hz. Also, not sure it support HDCP.

Also, B&M price cost more than online.. It was listed as pre-Thanksgiving sale around $998.00 on the local newspaper.

No HDCP support over HDMI connections. No digital audio output and also no QAM digital tuner. These are deal breaker for most people. Otherwise it looks like a good deal for those people not concerned with these features. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray both need HDCP if you want 1080p output from the discs.

1080p as a gaming computer display well under $1000 ... this is HOT.

Oops ... thought it was a 32". Still hot ... but maybe not as ideal for sitting on a desk as gaming PC display at that size.

Also apparently this tv only upscales the image to 1080p, it won't display a true 1080p source image. Also no hdcp seems to be confirmed. :/

My sister ordered this for her new house. It worked fine for a day, then died, only showing very snowy images. She had to fight with emprex to send her a new one. They charged her credit card for the new one and put it on hold, so when she ships the broken tv back they will give her a refund. They only give you 10 days to do this, AND you have to send back the original power cord and remote. The new tv they sent her did not come with a power cable and remote, so they are just trying to put her past her deadline now. Its a great tv if it works, but if ANYTHING goes wrong with it...good luck.
