360 wont connect with modem ?

Does that mean it has an IP or not?

Is the 360 plugged directly into the modem?

Do you use cable or DSL and who's your ISP?

Yes i have a ip from comcast and 360 is directly plugged in to modem
live support says i need a new modem, but i was only hooked up yesterday
Can this be true not commpatable

For anyone that cares i just got a router and it worked .
Live support and comcast couldnt troubleshoot that JEEZ!!
