Viva Pinata is nice too

But if you don't play on Xbox Live, you *may* want to consider selling it. Until Mass Effect comes out... 😀

Hehe yea keep the 360 ... alot of good games hitting it this year ... Mass Effect being the best of them all 😀

I say keep the 360 based not only Live and the games that are finally coming into their own, but the 360 will also act as a veritable hub of your entertainment center with minimal fuss. My 360 not only lets me play high-def games, but also streams my entire music library wirelessly from my PC in another room, lets me view any and all pictures if I want, view a few movies (this is the current weak point), it's my main DVD player, and now it's my new HD-DVD player. Plus, on Nov. 22nd, it can be my new on-demand movie rental (depending on selection, of course).

QFT. Beyond being a good gaming machine, it serves very well as a media entertainment hub.

Yeah, the X360 is awesome as a media hub. Only thing I am worried about is that the HD 1080i downloadable movies (on-demand). How much hard drive space they will take, and the format/compression level.

There will probably be a hard drive upgrade in the future, hopefully....

But the new Xbox live is amazing, I really wish I had a X360, damn college tuition/bills!!!

I love my 360 for games, but calling it an "awesome media entertainment hub" is really pushing it. Though far, far more difficult to set up, XBMC for the original Xbox (requires modchip, editing a few xml configuration files) is a real media hub. Pulling mp3s over the network is nice, but beyond mp3, wma, and wmv the 360 supports basically nothing. XBMC supports every non-DRM format I have ever come across, has a better interface, and just blows the 360 away in every media related way.
