360 NAT Problems

I've read through about a billion different solutions to XBox 360 NAT problems throughout google searches and forums and none of them have changed my NAT to "moderate" to "open".

I've forwarded ports, DMZ, uPnP, different firmware, every "solution" I could find on the internet and nothing has worked. My router is a WRT54GS v1 (no version), running firmware v4.71.1 as of now.

And yes when I tried DMZ and uPnP i had the other options closed. (ex: DMZ on, UPNP/Forward off. UPNP on, DMZ/Forward off.)

Any other suggestions?

What kind of problems are you having? My 360 just connected today to Xbox Live to download an update for Halo 3. I do not have anything special set up for NAT either.

When I run network xbox live test in network settings everythings fine except for NAT which is "moderate". Also in h3 sometimes when I connect to games it tells me again that my NAT isnt fully opened.

There shouldn't be any problems. Reset your router to factory defaluts and try again. Or it's possible that your ISP is NATing you as well. Call them.

Also try without the router, that will eliminate any provider side doings.

I just resetted to factory defaults yesterday (was my first attempt to fix since I had hyperWRT firmware). Ill try the straight to modem thing in a bit and report back, cant just stop playing halo3 :p lol
