God... I just wish they would shove their points, the controller, and just sell me the damn thing for $100-150 shipped, with no tax. Because really, that's how much it's worth at the most.

You should have got in on the Arcade clearance a few months back at Target for $120 w/$50GC. I did.😉
 
I'm dumb to the whole xbox scene.

Can i use this with external network drives with movies and streaming media from netflix and/or hulu or similar?

I'm thinking of dropping my basic cable tv -- but still want to watch a few network shows. I haven't looked specifically, but i think most of what i watch can seen off the internet.

Network drive? Yes, if it supports DLNA streaming. It's not the best for that particular function though.

Netflix? Yes

Hulu? Not yet. Supposed to be coming in early 2011.
 
it can play halo reach. you just cant do co-op campaign....

i dont know why this turned into a bashing xbox thread. i am just trying to pass on some savings to people.

I did too. Bought two. And used the $50 gift card toward a second one and then sold the first for cost. Basically got a 360 for $80.....
 
idk if anyone else got in on this deal, but they were backordered as of sat morning. sadly i have to wait until more come into stock....
