On the third page of the thread I'm linking to there is a guy that managed to get the RAM on his ATi Radeon 7500 (retail card) up to 360MHz/720MHz DDR!
I knew the R7500's overclocked well but that is damn nice!

11.5GB/s of memory bandwidth!
Damnit...
 
I dunno, I don't think that core is as efficient a user of memory bandwidth as the 8500/GF3's.. ie, I don't think that it's limited by raw power, just the efficieny..

Oh I'm saying it's necessarily utilizing all that bandwidth, I just find it amazing that it can actually pump it out if needed.

Damn, what I wouldnt give to see that RAM on a Radeon 8500, or a GeForce3... or hell even a GF2 core clocked at 250MHz+
