have managed to re-clock at a lower voltage... it seems if i go for 8*300 = 2400mhz my CPU demands more juice (and is less stable) than if i go for 270*8 =2430mhz!?!
BIOS VCORE now set @ 1.425 but shows a little higher with windows monitors i.e. CPU-Z & Speedfan! - think this a feature of the ASUS A8N-sli ?
