I know there are only like 3 mobos for the 939 set yet. Is it safe to buy the asus tho? is it reasonably tested and has anyone had any exepraince with it?

also..

whats the benifts of a nforce mobo

Your right, there's not much available yet. But the via chipset for socket 939 apparantly has an agp/pci lock for overclocking. I don't have any experience with them. I use yahoo to check for reviews, as so many of them are on small relatively unknown websites.

i read a lot of revies and forums and they alwasy are very confsuing. I know how to build a PC and have done it before but everyone always goes into details about OCing , Timings and locking, and stuff like that and i just get lost. I play PC games and i am buildng a new fast computer but i dont plan to over clock. I one one of those people who will play around with it a bit but generally leave it as it is and probably wont notice little things like timings and whatever the lock is. Do i really need to worry about what MB or is it just for those people who are all into it hardcore.

the gig is getting good reviews..although it is 200bucks!
