3500+ vs fx-53

Ok for a SLI gaming rig, which of these should I get:

A64 3500+ with Kingwin liquid cooling probably overclocked from 2.2 ghz to 2.7 or 2.8, bare minimum 2.6 overclock.

or

FX-53 with stock cooler
 
People are getting great overclocks with 3200+/3500+ Winchesters.
 
Well, if it were my money, I would much rather take a gamble with a $190 3200+ or a $290 3500+ over a $800+ FX-55.
 
I used to be hell-bent on getting top of the line FX CPU, but now I realized that a $300 3500+ 90nm will do the job
 
same here, I was ready to take the plunge with the FX-55 but decided that the 3500+ was WAY ahead in terms of value. I put that extra $ into a sweet video card....
