3500+ Newcastle and A8V Deluxe?

Wondering what some good safe settings would be for my system, I have 2 GB Dual channel DDR400 from crucial. AMD 3500+ and an asus A8V. I currently have my memory set to 400 and HT to 800 (800 oddly is faster than 1000) and it seems to be stable.

What do you guys recommend for this rig?

Do you mean to OC? If you want to OC, just read Zebo's guide at the top of this forums. Every CPU is different, so its best to find out what yours can handle yourself.

Set your FSB to about 220 and you should easily have 3800 speed.

Oh, and drop your HTT ratio to 3x to be safe.

A 3500+ newcastle is already at 2.4 ghz I believe. Just work some different settings and run prime95 to test stability. Make sure you run a divider on the ram as well.
