I think this OP found the deal for the cpu at Monarch, in Nitrus post he edited it to include the cpu at this price, prob from this post.

I just thought about this...Monarch offers the OEM version of this for $346..They will give a 3 year warranty thru them for $15 more bringing total to $361 which would save $8 if you already had a heatsink fan or were going to upgrade anyways!! Even a better deal! haha 😛


EDIT: Monarch has the OEM for free shipping so save some more on that too!

great to know. i was about to buy a mobile 2800+ 64 tomorrow, but now i'll wait. hopefully the mobiles will drop in price too?

edit: err sorry you are looking for a64..
I beleive Monarch already lowered their prices it seems, might want to search for the 2800+ a64..

do you think i should wait for newegg? monarch doesnt seem to carry the mobile a64's
 
ehhh...dunno..id go A64..
Monarch seems to have 2500+ and 2600+ XP Mobiles..and the 3400+ A64 Mobile..
I guess my personaly perference would just be go for a 939 technology @ the 3500+ for $361 shipped..but that is just me..not a fan of overclocking the latest and greatest
