3450 or 2600?

HD2600xt or HD 3450
The main goal is HTPC. Compatibility and decoding of bluray is priority. Does the 3450 offer better features in that area? Also, My daughter might want to play a game or 2. Nothing too new. Flatout 2 is her favorite. Which would be faster in games?

2600 is way better for games; the other features are basically the same. 3450 will use less energy.
