Do you have a different video card you can try? The only time I've seen stuff like that is when it was a video card problem.

i've never really heard of a cpu going bad, and im not quite sure its a video card problem since it can display bios at least...

what you can do is reformat your entire drive, make sure everything's plugged in correctly, then reset your bios default settings. if that really doesn't do the trick, id rma starting with the motherboard

I'd still try a different video card first. I've been able to get into the BIOS with a FUBAR video card.

i still haven't fixed the comp yet. the video card is sitting there perfectly fine, and i haven't gotten the chance to call asus yet.

i notice another problem. whenever the computer restarts, my quick launch dissapears from my task bar

and, sometimes, when the comp crashes, the bios is reset to the default values.

i'm not sure what or where the problems are coming from, so please help

thanks
