I'm not buying either one, I was just curious. My friend's co-worker, whom played poker w/ us the other night, just got one. He couldn't stop talking about it. I entertained him and complimented his car and everything, pretended to drool, etc.
But like I said, I was not impressed w/ the comfort level of the automobile. I love the exterior though, and the interior was leather-clad, but again, not comfortable.
He said he looked at a lot of cars, like the 330Ci, 350Z, etc. Ultimately, he said he like the options in the G35C over the 330Ci, and particularly the leather dash.
I didn't know that the G35 is 10k cheaper, which is probably his real reason.

I'm surprised as well; it seems that everyone here would give their left nut for a G35. Everyone makes it out to be the best semi-affordable and best-looking car on the market today.
yeah, well, I just think it's goofy looking. the tall headlights give it a shocked look, and the windows are too small; there is too much sheetmetal on the sides. It's mostly the headlights though; I don't like tall think lights a la the G35 or 350Z.

I would go with the G35 without batting an eye. The BMW isn't that great in comparison. The only thing you will get with the BMW is a more easily recognizable status symbol.

I always thought of Infiniti's having poor build quality considering they are Nissans. Am I wrong or have they gotten better?
Also I see a difference between paying more and getting a true luxury coupe or something that's off the same assembly line as an Altima/350z and sharing the same parts with the Nissan label.

rent it out or fix it up and resell it....do something that will make u money instead of pissing it away.
as soon as you drive your new bmw or g35 off the lot imagine yourself flushing 100 $100 bills down the toilet...cuz thats precisely what your doing.
but if you must have the mighty status symbol that is a new car....i'd got with tha g35 .......cuz if you gonna have a bimmer then you gotta start at a 5 series or higher.

330i, gut out the complete interior, install SCCA approved roll cage, get stand alone engine management, buy alcon brakes, h&r springs, ohlin/penske/moton shocks, etc and race open track at willow springs, laguna seca, and inifneon raceway all day long.<-----------was at the races yesterday, Gran Prix of Sonoma)

What Nissan model is the G35 a rebadged version of?
Or are you saying something along the lines of : Infinity = Nissan as Lexus = Toyota as Acura = Honda?
