A little birdie (the UL #) told me that this drive is really an Acer/ BenQ. Box refers to "Seamless Link" which is Acer's buffer under run preventer.

I have to check it out tomorrow after work. They still have the firewire cable for 4.08 and the Cat5 cable for cheap. Good post!

I got one....$60 out of pocket vs. up to $100 for some of the other CD-RW deals floating around. So if the rebate doesn't come, its not so bad.

The drive is really the Benq (Acer) 3210A, itself a pretty obscure drive (I couldn't find any reviews) ...I flash upgraded it successfully with Benq's lastest rom release. The Norcent website was pretty worthless. The drive seems to be working well. Comes with a full copy of Nero. InCD would only work when I turned off DMA on the drive.
