To do take advantage of this deal, do this :

1.) Dell.com

2.) Search : Lite-On 32X or Lite-On 40X ( whatever you prefer )

3.) Both are out of stock, but Dell.com allows you to buy them ( they do get shipments ) and eventually you will get the drive. I have done this maybe 2-3 times and all times I have received the order.

4.) In cart, enter in these two coupon codes :
(10% off coupon code was here)
(10% off of 100$ coupon was here)

5.)Shipping is free !!

6.) 32X Lite-On + Memorex 24X CD-R 50 pk spindle = $105.90 - $20.58 = $85.32 shipped!! ( coupon only works when total is over $100 )

OR

40X Lite-On = $108.95 - $20.89 = $88.06 shipped!!

Sorry, just saw the deal myself today...and I think one of the coupons expires on the 8th so act fast if you're getting one. Oh, and mine is supposed to be shipped on the 10th...low stocked punks.
 
Thanks...Pretty hot, especially since the drive comes with software
(unlike the cheap OEM drives places like Newegg sell).

Also doubly hot for me as I wanted to order some hard drive screws
and this allows me to piggyback them in the order with free shipping.

Just a note - I have had a nightmare tyring to get Dell to actually ship a stinking product. I placed 6 orders since 3/01 and ZERO have shipped thus far.
 
Damn you Dell!!!! I could've used this a month ago!! But no, instead I got stuck paying $90 for a 32X from Newegg. Pfft, can't ever win with all these hot deals.
 
can you please tell me how you got the 32x drive for 66 ? mines came out to be... 86$ including shipping which is 6$ and i used the... 10% coupon... please ...show me your way..
 
well, i followed what this post said, and this is what i did.

i added the 32x burner to the cart.
i added a surge protector to the cart to make it over 100$.
then applied the 10% off coupon.
then applied the 10$ off coupon.
chose the ground shipping. (free)

came to be surge protector for 16 or so $, and the burner for 67$.

all this i did, thru the home and home office,
then went to the software and pheriperals..

i have had 4 glasses of wine so far, so i hope i am making some kinda sense..😉

i said, will be shipped on or before 10th of april.

Yeah, there's a slight catch for the 32x drive, you have to buy something else (like 16 dollars or more) to bring the cost of the purchase over 100 dollars or else the 10$ of 100$ coupon won't work...heh, guess that's obvious.

Yeah, both are out of stock but you can still order them, my estimated shipping date is the 10th.
 
Probably the best deal is to get the 32x CD-RW drive and the Dazzle 6 in 1 flash card reader. Total for me came to ~$104 - $20 rebate= $84 shipped 🙂
 
Justincase, I couldn't really think of too many fillers to get...maybe a surge protector? I just bought the 24x memorex like the poster said and I'll hope that they do 32x. I remember people saying that most decent brand 24x cds willl do 32x
 
I know they have the 32X Cendyne at PriceCostco for $90, i'm sure there are some rebates somewhere that you deal sleuths can find....
 
Extra eBates 3%...these drives are OOS at Dell, so you may have to wait. In the meantime, I'll live with the extra $$ I paid at NewEgg...
 

Whew... just got in on the free shipping...

I picked up the 40x... but had to pay sales tax... weird, cause I'm in Florida.

Still happy with the price. I bet I can sell the Nero CD for $30! (I already have it).



 
I ordered on 4/4 and at that time it said that it wasn't in stock but i just ordered anyways. the next day i checked the order status and it said that it has already been shipped and they also gave me a ups tracking #... should be here this friday. schweet! 😀

btw...it was a 40x liteon
