32MB tnt2 ==> 64MB Geforce2 MX400 big difference?

hi, im considering on upgrading to the geforce2mx 400, will there be much of a performance boost since i mainly play games.

I would think so. I went from a 3dfx voodoo3 3000 -> geforce 256 DDR and there was quite a difference in performance... (v3 were about equal in performance to a tnt2).

Yes, there is no question that you will improve in performance. There was a HUGE performance with the Geforce 256 SDR and that card is better.

There will be a big difference indeed, though the Geforce DDR is faster than a Geforce2 MX, I would look for a good DDR like the Annihilator Pro before I considered an MX, either than or just get a GTS or Pro, the MX is really a waste in my opinion.

You can get the GF2 Pro pretty cheap. Check out Newegg. They seem to have really good prices.
