32mb cache or 16 mb cache

Currently I want to buy an extra harddrive for videos and such. I was wondering if I should buy a 32 mb cache seagate drive or 16 mb cache drive. Which one is better? Or does it make a difference, its about a 20 dollar difference on newegg. Thanks! What exactly does cache do.
 
The 32MB cache drive will be faster, not necessarily because of the cache but because it's a newer generation. 7200.11>7200.10
