That is a dynamite price.
They wont fit under the heatsinks I use, so I used to buy the low profile which are not avail any more, had to switch to Crucial Sport. Wish I could have bought all my other LP kits at that price!

I called GSkill and asked about that.
The 4 X 8GB LP is still on their site
The guy said their only outlet is Newegg and if it isnt on their site, its not avail. Maybe they are coming out with new kit of 32GB LP?
With dif drams.

That is good to know, and hope we see more of these LP and low-voltage kits.

I am waiting on the Samsung 30 8GB dimms... wonder if they ever will become available to buy

Well I can cross 8GB sticks of RAM off the BF list now. And 1600 CL9 at 1.5v was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks OP.

VMware and RAM disk for me.

I am thinking:

RAM disk > sandboxie > and impulse install anything that will fit on the drive (vms, games or demos, software, muxing videos, create a custom micro windows 7?, and etc)

I am imagining super fast custom Windows 7 recompilations, and VM installations on the RAM disk.

Let your imagination set you free :p

You, me and the rest of the smarties. You know the ones who don't fall for useless heat-sinks, unwarranted marketing, and unjustified margins. Good news...it's not long now, they'll be here and in our DIMM slots in January.

What do you people do, play pong?

I just ran 2x some PS actions (special interpolation) on single picture. 1st time it ran fine, 2nd time it killed my scratch disk.

I have 16 GB and it was just enough to do half of a single picture.

I know that 20nm production ramped up in September, but what source says January 2013 for these DIMMs to hit retail?

Make sure you guys have windows 8 or windows 7 pro or ultimate. Windows 7 home can only use 16gbs of memory.
