i have a 32 db fan in my case (the panaflo 80mm 39 cfm fan), and it's just right for me ;) not too loud, and leaves my cpu niiiiice and cool (with the help of an alpha pal8045).

as far as the connectors go, you need to look at the wattage for the fans you are gonna buy. most motherboard headers can take at most 4 watts, IIRC. the benefit is that you will be able to monitor the rpm of the fan. the benefit to using the 4 pin connectors is that you put less strain on the motherboard. the best of both worlds is to buy (or build) adapters that split the power connector of the fan. the power leads go to the power supply, and the rpm monitoring lead goes to the motherboard.

flippy boy flippy boy you little idea stealing bastaard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u sure those arent sunon? because the only panaflo fans at 2cooltek.com are 24 cfm by 21 db

i was goin to get one on my pal8045 and throw 2 in my case along with the 2 stock antec ones to create an even air flow in and out

1 antec and one sunon fan in front each blowing
same in back each sucking though

how would this computer be?

that computer would be very cool and very quiet ;) i actually have 4 of the panaflos you speak of on the way for my antec. i have the 39 cfm fan on my cpu, but i dont think i need high-performance fans in my case. you should be moooore than happy with that system (i know i will be!)
