i've been very satisfied with svc.

i ordered some heatsinks, and fans from them. they have a very good selection, as i couldnt find the fan i have anywhere else (arctic cooling tc4 p4 fan with temp sensors, and my exhaust is also a temp sensing arctic cooling 80mm).

at least they dont rape on shipping like newegg with their seperate shipping thing. svc has very reasonable shipping rates.

Seems like they were good but recently had a meltdown. Here are some posts from ARSTECHNICA

Kinda like the server response time here at Anandtech...I used to have Hotdeals as my start page but changed this week.I got tired of waiting everytime I launched IE.

Maybe you should susbscribe...

I wouldn't go with a cheap powersupply like this, the powersupply is too important to a system's reliablity and stablity.. just a 10% drop of voltage will be too much for your cpu and memory to handle and will result in a crash

I would subscribe in a heartbeat .... if I could only find the link. I've looked but it eludes me. 🙁
Could somebody point me in the right direction?

I ordered two of these powersupplies.

One is bad. Both were received with the "do not break seal" label broken.

I'm returning my entire order. YMMV.

Seems good but I'd rather go with this one, much better rails, ball bearing fan and $17 shipped

I have had 2 large orders from them, I had a minor problem with the second order, I notified them and they sent double the correct parts and told me to keep the others for my trouble. I will order again.

Kaieye, I hope you are just being sarcastic. Newegg has been the best online vendor I have ever purchased from, both in the quality of the items received and the fast shipping, not to mention the competitive prices. I have never bought anything from SVC simply because I hear on these boards to many complaints recently. I have to say your the first one I have heard that doesn't like Newegg. Or perhaps you work for SVC 😉

When did he say he didn't like Newegg?

Mine just died fter 3 weeks and took my %$#@ing harddrive with it! Anybody know the warranty on this POS? I'm pissed! :|

I've done about 8 transactions with SVC (all were <$50.00 btw). I received all my orders promptly. One order was short a fan, but this was corrected and also shipped immediately. It seems they went through some kind of relocation when all hell broke loose- I guess I didn't have any orders with them during the chaos- They sent me an apologetic e-mail (even though it didn't affect me) and said all was back to normal. This was a couple weeks ago.
Anyone have problems with them in the last two weeks?
