Mine has been that high but in error. Sprint is notorious for billing errors!

2 year contracts are evil but I did agree to one w/ Sprint because I had already had two good years with them. Plus, they gave me $100 off the phone of my choice and I got a great plan. Now that my bill is about $50 a month I'll get something good out of them the next time I want a new phone:cool:

Ouch that hurts.

I had a $1000+ cell phone bill for someone in our company one time!

Someone placed him on an X amount anytime minutes plan, but they don't realize that he travels overseas, real smooth... The overseas roaming charges were astronomical!

It's worth noting that most of those free roaming plans only include areas within your particular company's digital coverage. if you connect with anything else, including your company's analog system, you are charged roaming. and once you're off their personal digital network, they'll hit you with long distance and all that other crap too.

You haven't seen high bills till you work at a cellular company... I've seen them as high as 1800 a month (for a private cellular use) 5000 a month (for business)

Ths one lady is supposed to pay $35 a month to get 700 minutes... She used around 9,300 minutes... once you go over the 700 minutes she pays 40 cents a minute... you do the math that's a lot of money. After pleading with cust. service they knocked it down to a $1800 bill

I just found out my wife has been paying $150-$200 a month for the past 6 months because she's on the wrong plan with Cingular. Is it easy to change plans?

ohh yeah generally with most companies you can change your plan easily... you just wont be able to sign up for free minutes or promos unless you want to renew your contract

Thx, I'm sure I can find something better than what she's using now, and I don't think she got any free minutes when she signed up initially either (sigh...)
