Spend $8 on a movie ticket - entertainment.
Spend $5 on a raffle ticket (to support a charity) - donation, entertainment, a much higher chance of winning
Spend $2 on the Sunday paper - some news and entertainment (comics) (all of which I could view for free online)
I don't look upon any of those as investments. Therefore, I can't lose.
People who purchase more than one ticket, either are capable of developing fantasies proportional to the number of tickets they purchase i.e. they can dream about what they would do if they won more than I can after purchasing only 1 ticket, or they are dumb.
And this is sooo funny because someone in this thread will win just to prove it.
