So apparently 31 individuals who felt the desire to specifically go to ID and try to interrupt a pride event. Thankfully someone was paying attention and brought this to the attention of law enforcement.

Happened to be right next door to our town in Spokane. My wife and daughter attended the Spokane Pride events today.

The operation in Coeur d'Alene began when a concerned citizen informed police "approximately 20 people jumped into a U-Haul.

See something - say something may well have prevented a riot, destruction of property, and all that comes with a gang of thugs.

Here are the peckerheads. They splintered off Vanguard America after the Charlottesville march in 2017.

I grew up in Spokane...not very fond of it. Too much crime, too many drug problems. Northern Idaho has been a magnet for white supremacists and whackos for decades. Idaho in general is kind of the West Virginia of the western states. I mean...Wyoming has always been pretty conservative...Idaho has gone stupid-conservative. (I've lived and worked in the C'dA area, Salmon, Challis, and Pocatello over the years, so I've seen it first-hand)

I like Spokane for the outdoors, but I agree crime and drug problems are rampant. I am very nervous about wandering around in Northern ID because of who I am. Same goes for Florida and Texas.

And someone here seems to think it's funny that I have concerns about my safety in this country should the fascists end up in charge.

A girl I went to high school and was a good friend with my ex with lived in Spokane. We visited them a couple times. Spokane is sort of a strange place. My friend was married to a lawyer and they were pretty well off due to his parents being wealthy as well as him being a lawyer. They lived in an area I think is called South Hill. Not super ritzy looking, but it is the well off side of the town. You go down the hill and across the tracks (Spokane is a big railroad junction) and it's a completely different world. Not sure if there's lot's of old silver money still around. Walace Idaho isn't really that far away. Back in the day, that's where the "houses" were. Sadly, since my divorce and the death of the high school friend from leukemia , I don't know if her husband is still alive even. I also can't ask my ex as it's become apparent that's she is yet another person in my life who has or is succumbing to Altheimer's.

There are definitely areas to avoid in Spokane. South Hill is certainly some of the nicer places. I'm live in North Spokane in the 5 mile prairie area near Whitworth University. It does get nicer the farther north you go.

I agree with nakedfrog. I am extremely hesitant to go to certain states because of who I am. Idaho, Texas, Florida and pretty much most Midwest and Southeast states.

They missed it.
The authorities missed it.
This was only the tip of the iceberg, you had 31 terrorists ready to riot, but where were their guns? No guns to kill the gays?
Sure they had guns, in another van. The van that got away.
The van, the car, the truck, or the SUV supplied with enough assault weapons to kill hundreds of happy pride attendees.
The weapons were in fact delivered, ready for use, via another delivery method simply because 31 terrorist in an U-Haul could not possible risk being caught dressed in military garb AND with 31 assault weapons.
So where did those assault weapons go? We will never know. Probably being stored somewhere by someone for the next terrorist attack.

Look at it this way. If a truck load of 31 baseball players were caught in a U-Haul, caught with no baseball bats, then might one assume if the baseball bats were missing then someone else would supply the bats? After all, 31 baseball players can not play baseball without baseball bats. And 31 homophobic terrorist can not invade a pride Prade without 31 AK-47's.
