31 days of horror - need suggestions

Hey, y'all. It's been a (long) while.

I *love* horror movies.

So over the past few years, I've been doing an annual 31-Days-of-Horror marathon for October. The first couple years I focused on lesser seen and more extreme films. Then I did just a grab-bag mix of anything that looked even remotely watchable.

My problem is I'm not sure where to go from here. I was thinking of taking the easy route and doing cult classics and multi-part series, but I've seen them all. I'm struggling to find a theme for this year.

Any suggestions, theme or titles?

You've probably already seen Cannibal Holocaust. The reviews say it's a trip. Looking forward to watching it soon. Crazy how much controversy surrounded this movie in the 80's. Funny backstory about the actors post-production. Available on Blu-Ray.

I need to get back into horror movies. It's been so long.
I had a major kick back in the day and tried to rent them all (back when renting was cool). But now I have strayed and have an ability to play catch up with all the recent highly-rated productions in the past few years.

It was weird when even the worst (best?) horror movie couldn't scare me. That probably doesn't hold true anymore.

Have you seen Basket Case and it's two sequels yet?
The first is a cult classic the other two get pretty stupid but in a fun way.

Over the years, a child's romantic ideals about death blossom into necrophilia, the study of embalming and the most profound relationship of her life.

this movie was horror to me.

Trick R' Treat
Dead Alive
Trailer Park of Terror
Even Horizon
Human Centipede 2 and 3 (they really blow, but..why not if you are grasping)
The Undead (pretty good Austrailian zombie flick)
Death Bed: The Bed that Eats

Lots of other obvious ones that you've probably already seen.

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.

My Bloody Valentine
