Well, the project in Shreveport is drawing to an end. I am scheduled to vacate my Corporate Apartment on 3/31. I've started taking stuff home, where I will wait for my next assignment. I see no way to ever duplicate what I've had in Shreveport, and find it hard to justify doing so. Thus, I plan to liquidate my lesser systems. You can see on my Fleet Sheet (see my SIG below) that I have already started. Until I get a new assignment you will see my production bounce around, then it should level off. I would like to try to keep it around 71 WUs per day, but that may be hard to do. It has been fun, but now I'm finding that it is very hard to compete with the corporate folks.

It has been an interesting trip to this point. Doing this with a personal fleet is difficult at best. Every day, or two, I have a corporate account blow by me making my progress in the Top 1000 very slow. In the past 20 months I have surpassed all the goals that I have set for myself. Actually I never believed that I would get his high in the standing. Being on such a great TeAm has helped give me the motivation to get to this point and I thank you for that!

God Bless!

JWM,

When I passed over 10K I completely lost interest because I thought there wasn't anything more for me to look forward to.

I soon came to my senses, though....:)

I'm sure even with your reduced fleet, you'll be able to move up in the stats! :D:D

Besides, there'll be new processors released and upgrades to be done in the coming quarters!

Keep crunchin! :)

just think about the dual sledghammer system with 1MB o cache on each chip that every seti person on this team will be drooling over that you can get in a little while.

Maybe we ought to have a report for the different categories of members. Something like Large Corporation/School, Mini-Team, and individuals.

Any thoughts?

Wow JWM all those accomplishments with a home fleet is impressive!! :)

I hate to see that you are going to have to liquidate some of your fleet (please remember your TeAmmates when doing so ;) ) but you will still be a very valuable TeAm member no matter how many WUs you produce. You also have my sympathies for working on a project in Shreveport (why aren't those projects ever in Fort Lauderdale? ;) )

Thanks for you great work thus far and the great work you will continue to do in the future! :)

Looks like our two biggest home fleets (you and Networkman) are doing quite well. Congrats on all your accomplishments JWMiddleton.

JW, I understand well what you mean about competing against those with access to work fleets.. it definitely ain't easy, and I'm certain I've probably gone a little overboard in my attempts to reach the Top 1000. Still, it's not so much the destination but the journey in getting there that makes it all worthwhile! :) Well, that and the company of good people around you. ;)

Thanks TeAm! :)

JW,

You epitomize (big word for the day ;) ) the heart of TeAm AnandTech. To have put together such a large fleet at home is the ultimate contribution! :) I've always felt (and have stated on more than one occasion) that while it's nice to assimilate a nice work force, it doesn't mean near as much as the individual who puts their own hard-earned money into building a personal fleet.

I'm glad to see you hitting the highest of levels with Seti! :D You certainly deserve to be in the TeAm Top 10, and I hope I never pass you. :)

You've had a great run recently, JW. It's been fun watching your stats!

As far as hoping to maintain 71 wu's per day, well, that in itself is pretty awesome. Especially considering that it's a personal fleet. That's three times my dailies! :Q

I'm proud to be on the same team as you. :)
