302.82 WHQL drivers for Windows 8 32 and 64 bit now available

Just tested them with BF3 and they're silky smooth on the 690 with Windows 7. I lost some average on heaven but gained Mins and max

I have to say I'm jealous of nVidia's drivers lately. AMD has gone back to the dog days of old when they had inferior drivers.

I second that, and im sick of nvidias drivers as well. I had terrible experiences with their 280 drivers and because of that im still using 275.33.

You shouldn't. 304.42 are newer, and NVIDIA specifically recommends not running these Windows 8 drivers on Vista/7.

No idea. I'd imagine at this point they're just working to get WDDM 1.2 working, and not caring if they break WDDM1.1 in the process.

This Release 302 driver is a beta GeForce driver to be used only with Microsoft® Windows® 8 Release Preview, and supports both 32‐bit and 64‐bit versions.

This driver offers full support for the new Windows 8 display driver model WDDM 1.2.

This driver should not be used with Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Wish there was an auto-update of some kind, these driver updates are gettin pretty tedious.

For windows 7 or not BF3 is so much smoother then with .48's. Not sure why.
