300W+ power supply for a micro atx case

Hey all, I have an IBM Netvista which is a micro atx case. It's only 180 Watts and i'm gonna buy a geforce 6800 oc and need to change the power supply. Does anyone know of a 300Watts+ micro atx power supply that will fit into my netvista (it's 3 years old)

microATX is a standard, so any should fit your case. However, for that much power you are limited on choices...most hover around 180 to 200W. Newegg has an Ahanix that claims 300W, but I would suggest the Enermax 270W.

I got an Antec 350 Watt PS into mine, no problem... In some cases I've seen, if you use a full size PS, it becomes a tight squeze to fit your optical drive behind (in front?) of it... You know what I mean?

I'm facing a similar situation with an Enlight 7180A microATX box (only has 150 watts). But the 270 watt Enermax unit mounts "sideways" compared to what I need. It seems that 2 1/2 by 4 by 5 is pretty common for a micro PSU, but most are like Enermax's 270. I have to settle (apparently) for the 250 watt Enermax microATX psu, which mounts on its smaller end.

🙁
